What's Happening In Cambria 4-H Groups.

Food & Nutrition:  We made HOMEMADE Apple pies.  It was a Great learning experience.  The girls worked in groups of 2 and all of them made a pie...MMM there sure were GoOd!  See you next month!

Creative Arts: We made  Scarves on Looms! This was a tough project for some of the girls, But we LEARN BY DOING!   Next month we will make some Candy Cane Ornaments!

Welding:We had our first meeting on Oct 26.  We discussed the basics of Welding, about tools, and most Importantly, safety. Remeber to think about what you want to cut with the plasma cutter at the next meeting.

LeatherCraft: We Met Oct 19 and had a great first go around with leather.  We tooled some small projects and decided what to order to our next meeting.  Look forward to making more items.

Dog Obidience: .

Outdoor Adventure: We had a Camp out @ SSSP and had a good turn-out.  We finished our walking sticks, took a 3 mile hike and had a great time.  Look forward to doing more in the future!

Horse: We talked about body parts.  We also discussed what to fed a horse.  The difference between feeding a horse on pasture and feeding a horse in a stall.  We walked up and saw the mare that are ready to foal in spring!

Photography: We met @ Shamel Park on Oct 22 and it was a Great turnout.  We talked about our cameras then took a walk down to the beach and took some photos.
